Is this course right for me?

Before you start studying jQuery, you should have a basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Web pages are built using HTML and are styled using CSS. jQuery is a feature-rich JavaScript library used to create animations and transform basic web pages into dynamic, interactive websites (dragging elements around the page, opening and closing sliding panels, animate HTML elements, etc.). This coding course is available courtesy of Codecademy, an online, interactive platform that offers free coding classes in six different programming languages like Python, PHP, jQuery, JavaScript, and Ruby, as well as markup languages including HTML and CSS.
